Dr. Seyedmahdi Izadkhast (EEE) receives NRO-Funding on Learning Analytics Project
- Wednesday, 4 June 2025
A team led by Associate Professor Prem Sundaramoorthy (Aerospace, TU Delft) has been awarded €100K in funding through the NRO Comenius Senior Fellows program for the project “Learning Analytics Dashboard for Learners, Instructors and Curriculum Managers.” The project brings together colleagues from TU Delft (Aerospace and EEMCS faculties), TU Eindhoven and the University of Groningen, with the Electrical Engineering Education Section (EEE) contributing through Dr. Seyedmahdi Izadkhast’s leadership.
The project aims to improve traditional assessment practices by developing a Learning Analytics Dashboard that moves beyond single-grade evaluations. The dashboard will provide visualizations of topic-specific performance, knowledge gaps and skill strengths, enabling instructors to offer targeted feedback and helping students develop effective learning strategies.
Pilots will be conducted across four faculties at TU Delft, TU Eindhoven and the University of Groningen to evaluate the dashboard’s usability, validity and impact. The EEE section wishes the team success in this interdisciplinary, interfaculty and interinstitutional initiative, which promises to enhance both teaching practices and learning outcomes.
We wish Dr. Izadkhast and his mult-university team succes in conducting this research.
