Biography
Hello! I’m a PhD student in the Smart Ultrasound group, under the supervision of Dr. Michiel Pertijs.
I obtained my BSc and MSc degrees in electrical engineering at TU Eindhoven. In the latter, I specialised in RF IC design and solidified my interest in transceivers, high frequency circuit design and digital signal processing.
In June 2025, I completed my master thesis at Fraunhofer IAF in Freiburg, Germany, under the supervision of Dr. Fabian Thome and Prof. dr. Marion Matters-Kammerer. There I designed active cold-load solutions to reduce the baseband NF of a 220 GHz distributed amplifier in the in-house 35nm InGaAs technology.
My first experience in ultrasound sensing came from an internship at ASML, Eindhoven, under ir. Bas Jansen, in 2024. I was tasked to characterise the behavior of acoustic waves in glass by utilising PZT transducers.
Now, I started 2026 with a PhD at TU Delft on ASIC design of an ultrasound phased array transceiver for advanced flow measurements, as a part of the Flow++ project.
