Biography

Hadi Jamali Rad is a Multi-Modal GenAI research manager at Shell, and part-time Assistant Professor at TU Delft (since 2021). At Shell, he has led the development and deployment of numerous (Generative) AI products that are now being used by hundreds of users and domain experts across the enterprise.  At TU Delft, he was initially with the Pattern Recognition group (CS) where he led research at the intersection of Few-Shot Learning, Self-Supervised Learning, and Generative AI. Starting 2026, he moved to the SPS group. Prior to this, he completed his PhD at SPS under the supervision of Prof. Geert Leus.
