Biography

Cristina Yepes (S’17) received the M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication engineering from University of Navarra, Navarra, Spain, in 2015. She received her Ph.D. degree at the Terahertz Sensing Group, Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2020.

Currently, she is a postdoc at Siena University in Siena, Italy. Her current research interests include analysis and design techniques for phased array antennas and frequency selective surfaces, and analytical and numerical methods for antenna characterization.

Dr. Yepes was a co-recipient of the Best Innovative Paper Prize at the 39th ESA Antenna Workshop in 2018.

The goal is to develop 3D antenna elements for phased arrays with integrated filtering solutions and suitable pattern shaping.
