Biography

Jawad Qureshi was born in Multan, Pakistan. He received his B.Sc Engineering Degree from University of Engineering and Technology Taxila Pakistan in 2000. After that, he joined Communication Enabling Technologies Pakistan, where he worked as System Engineering developing hardware and software for VOIP solutions.

In 2006 he received master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Micro-electronics) from Technical University of Delft, during which he worked in close cooperation with NXP semiconductors to develop high-efficiency multi-path power amplifiers for 3G Base-station transmitters. After completing his masters studies he joined Microwave Component Laboratory in TuDelft as Phd candidate , working on different topics for related to high-efficiency load-modulated transmitters. His research resulted in a number of publications and the award of PhD degree in Electrical Engineering in 2012.

In 2010 he joined RF Power group in NXP semiconductor as Principal RF design Engineering and since then he is working in the same group (now Ampleon). His research interests are wideband high-efficiency transmitters and microwave integrated circuits.
