Biography

Maryam Yazdanmehr is a Research Associate (Post-doc) in the Electronic Components, Technology, and Materials (ECTM) group at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). She obtained her Master’s degree in Materials Engineering at TU Delft (2009–2011), followed by her Ph.D. in the ECTM group (2011–2015) under the supervision of Prof. Zhang and Prof. Van Driel.

Her research focuses on the reliability and accelerated aging test methodologies of microelectronic materials and components. She has contributed to the development of multi-component reliability models for packaging materials and is currently investigating degradable and biodegradable materials and sensors.

She has been actively engaged in international collaborations during her doctoral and postdoctoral projects, including:

  • University of Antwerp, Belgium (Prof. Leartz, 2019–2021)
  • Ibaraki University, Japan (Prof. Udono, July–September 2013)
  • Dow Corning, Japan (Summer 2013)
  • University of Manchester, UK (Prof. Sven Schroeder, Autumn 2014)
