Mark Stoopman was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in 1983. He received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands in 2010.

Currently he is working towards his Ph.D. degree at the same university in close cooperation with the Holst Centre/IMEC, the Netherlands. His research interests include RF energy harvesting, low-power wireless communication, antennas and ultra-low power IC design for biomedical applications.
