PhD thesis (Nov 2021): Approximately Optimal Resource Management for Multi-Function Radar
Promotor: Hans Driessen, Alexander Yarovoy
Biography
Max Schöpe received his Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Electrical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg in February 2015. During his Bachelor studies, he was employed for 2 years as a working student at NXP Semiconductors Germany GmbH. After graduation, he decided to pursue the Master of Science program of Telecommunication and Sensing Systems at TU Delft. He graduated in October 2017 in the Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems group, where he subsequently started as a PhD student. Currently, Max Schöpe is working on sensor resource management for radar. His main research interest is to find algorithms that can optimize the radar resources in a non-myopic fashion by using Partially Observable Markov Decision Processes (POMDP).
