PhD thesis (Oct 2020): Accurate structural health monitoring in composites
Promotor: Roger Groves (LR), Richard Hendriks, Richard Heusdens
Expertise: manufacturing defect detection, fiber Bragg optics
Biography
Aydin Rajabzadeh obtained the PhD degree in October 2020 from CAS. He joined the CAS group as a PhD student in February 2016. He works on the TKI project "Smart sensing in composite factories for the future", a joint project with Fac. Aerospace. In this project structural health monitoring will be developed for application in a factory environment. The developed sensor technology will not be restricted to impact damage, but can also find application for monitoring process parameters defects introduced by the manufacturing and assembly processes.
Aydin received the MSc degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Tehran in 2015.
