MSc A. Muraleedharan
Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems (MS3), Department of Microelectronics
Biography
Arun graduated as a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala, India in 2010. With the post graduate scholarship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, India, he completed his Master in Engineering in Signal Processing from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India in 2013. Later he worked in the Astronomy and Astrophysics group at the Raman Research Institute, Bangalore, India and the Netherlands Foundation for Radio Astronomy (ASTRON) consecutively after his post graduation. He was also a part time technical consultant for the start-up company named Sohum Innovative solutions for developing biomedical signal analysis tools for analyzing the auditory brain-stem response signals to test the deafness of infants. At the Raman Research Institute, he was working towards seperating astronomically significant wave signatures from the instrumental noise. At ASTRON, he was in the LOFAR-Epoch of Re-ionization group for studying the temporal antenna gain variations and its impact in signal strength estimation of astronomical signals in radio frequency.
In September 2015, he joined the Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems group of EEMCS faculty, TU Delft as a PhD candidate. He will be working towards developing new methods for Sensor (Radar) Resource Management.
