Biography

Martin Šimák is a PhD candidate in the MS3 group at TU Delft. His doctoral research focuses on the development of polarimetric MIMO arrays for advanced driver-assistance systems, with the specific aim of enhancing the classification of vulnerable road users. He received a double master's degree (summa cum laude) in Electronics and Communications from the Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague and the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in Taipei, where his thesis focused on a dual circularly polarized waveguide antenna. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Open Electronic Systems from CTU in Prague.
