Biography

Yi Zhu received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2001, and the M.Sc. degree in Microelectronics from Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2007. He is currently a Senior Principal RF Engineer at Ampleon Semiconductor, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, where he focuses on advanced RF power amplifier concepts and behavioral modeling for base stations. He has previously held R&D positions at Intel, Motorola, and NXP and holds several U.S. and EU patents. His research interests include behavioral modeling, high-power MMIC design, high-efficiency power amplifiers, and high-performance RF passive devices.
