Demining toolbox (D-BOX)

Themes: Sensor network communication, Safety and security

detection of anti-personal landmines and cluster munitions
Demining tool-BOX for humanitarian clearing of large scale areas from anti-personal landmines and cluster munitions.

D-BOX tackles the burning issue of anti-personal landmines and cluster munitions remaining from armed conflicts. It will provide Demining stakeholders with innovative, easy to use and low cost solutions interfaced and/or integrated in a comprehensive toolbox.

This smart Toolbox could be used during all demining activities to help operators and end users chose the most suitable answer for optimal planning and preparation to low cost, safe and easy to use tools for specific tasks during different steps of the demining activities adapted for varying scenarios and conditions.

MS3 is involved in the work package dealing with close-in detection, more specifically the high resolution 3D GPR performance evaluation and modeling.
