MSc thesis project proposal
Self-calibrated precision amplifiers
Precision amplifiers are widely used in sensor interfaces and industrial applications. There are mainly two types of precision amplifiers: amplifiers that employ dynamic element matching techniques, and amplifiers that don’t. In the former category, the nonidealities due to switching introduce input current and intermodulation modulation distortion. In the latter category, the offset and offset drift are often much higher compared to the first category. In this project, we will focus on an innovative precision amplifier that can mitigate the drawbacks of both categories.
