Biography

My general area of research is signal processing for communications. I have focused on the application of compressive sampling (compressed sensing) especially for ultra-wideband signals along with developing the relevant theoretical frameworks. I have also worked with different optimization algorithms as well as the tools for statistical learning. My work cuts across various fields of research, e.g., wireless sensor networks, mobile communications, cognitive radios, image processing, remote sensing, etc. I have also worked as a teaching assistant for the course on signal processing for communications.
