Milad Mehrpoo received his B.Sc. (2010) and M.Sc. (2012, cum laude) both in electronics from Tehran University and the Delft University of Technology (TU-Delft), respectively. At 2010, to pursue his M.Sc. degree, he has been the recipient of Top Talent Fellowship and Project Fellowship from Delft University of Technology Electrical Engineering faculty and Microelectronics Departments, respectively.
He has joined Catena Microelectronics (owned by NXP) at 2012 as an assistant RF system and circuit architect. During this period, he has worked on low-power circuit and systems for ZigBee and Bluetooth low energy (BLE) radio standards.
Since 2015, he has started his Ph.D. at Delft University of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Leo de Vreede. His main research activity involves developing integrated transceiver solutions offering high bandwidths in an energy efficient manner, as infrastructure ICs for 4G and 5G applications up to 6GHz.
Mr. Mehrpoo, very recently, won the best Student Paper Award (1st Place) of 2017 Radio-Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFIC) Symposium held in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
